Celebrating Sweet Pea’s Roots and YOU—Our Sponsor!

Have Questions?

The Sweet Pea Festival was created in 1978 by a group of approximately seventeen Bozemanites dedicated to staging a three-day arts festival. This gathering was meant to be a “celebration of creativity” among area artists and the community. The group derived the Festival’s name and some of the planned events from the Sweet Pea Carnivals that were held in Bozeman in the early 1900s. Now in its 34th year, the Sweet Pea Festival remains true to its original vision of celebrating the arts. From refusing corporate sponsorship to relying on over 1,500 volunteers to make the Festival happen, Sweet Pea truly is your event!
